Critical thinking enables university students to avoid procrastination whereas creative thinking supports this by giving the university student ideas on how not to procrastinate, for example by starting with the activities; they dislike most or important work. By prioritizing the student saves a lot of time and gives them a lot of extra time to do other activities and not just doing them but doing them in the right way and exhaustively. If important things are not done first chances of not doing them on time or not doing them at all are high.

In addition, becoming a creative and critical thinker towards time can be truly interesting since a university student can end up learning a lot about themselves in detail. A good recommendation for this is by having a notebook where you track all your main activities of the day by recording the time spent doing them, every detail put into record is significant since it will help to know how long you took to achieve a certain goal.

Critical thinking plays a crucial role in evaluating new ideas, selecting them if necessary .As a student when I get creative about my studies, I will perform well. On the face of it, “creativity “seems like a skill useful only to artists, designers, writers, or even marketers but the truth is that we as student we need it. In addition, creativity is what drives innovation and progress

7) Critical thinking enhances independent thinking thus helps one curb peer- pressure.

Peer pressure is when a student is influenced by fellow peers to do something most of the time not good. You will see teens taking alcohol, disrespecting elders, missing classes and forgetting what they are supposed to doing in school-a result of peer pressure. Example   is drinking alcohol in a party. Some of tactics to deal with peer pressure include; learn to be assertive, ask for help if necessary, get out of the situation, choose friends wisely and spend time with those who resist peer pressure. Critical thinking will help a student to know when he is right hence, he or she is less likely to fall for swindles or tricks because they approach everything with a healthy   amount of skepticism.  Those who lack critical thinking skills often assume that everything they are told is true regardless of the source .As a student, I need to be an independent thinker to avoid falling for peer pressure and resist it. As a critical thinker, I will say no to friends who want to mislead me

This revelation can be both daunting and liberating.

Daunting because it makes us responsible for our attitudes and liberating because we have the power to choose our perspective, mood and thoughts.

When we are aware that we can choose and direct our thinking, we realize that we have the ability to better control the circumstances of our lives, improve our decision-making processes and generally live more productive lives as students.

This in no way suggests that students need downplay the many feelings and emotions we as humans enjoy, it’s a simply a way for us to manage and balance them with our cognitive abilities.

We are thinking critically and, in a problem, solving mindset when we:Rely on reason rather than emotion ,Evaluate a broad range of viewpoints and perspectives ,Maintain an open minded to alternative interpretations, Accept new evidence, explanations and findings, Are willing to reassess information, Can put aside personal prejudices and biases, Consider all reasonable possibilities, Avoid hasty judgments.

Critical and creative thinking equips students with the logical ability of selecting the best choice during a problem-solving action. More importantly broadens one’s rationality and ability to reason.

Critical thinking can help a student in any profession where the student must analyze information, systematically solve problems, generate innovative solutions, plan strategically, think creatively, or present your work or ideas to others in a way that can be readily understood.
